Learning that shapes our lives and ministries
Proposed workshop topics. Final sessions will be announced following leader input, with EC/KC elders and/or pastors co-leading each workshop.
Explore how the Gospel continually forms us, what spiritual maturity looks like at ODPC, and how our ministries can help people intentionally follow Jesus in everyday life.
A clearer picture of the disciple ODPC hopes to form, with practical questions for evaluating whether our ministries help people become more like Jesus.
Consider the opportunities and challenges of our KC/EC and ID/IG model, and discover practices that move us from sharing a campus to sharing life across generations and congregations.
A shared vision and language for healthy interdependence, with practical ideas for stronger relationships across generations, ministries, and congregations.
Explore what it means for every member to live as someone sent by God into neighborhoods, workplaces, schools, and relationships, bringing together hospitality, mercy, justice, evangelism, and service.
A broader view of mission beyond church programs, with practical ways to see ordinary life as a place where God has sent us.
Look beyond individual programs to consider the disciple we hope to form over a child’s first 18 years, with shared ownership among families, teachers, pastors, volunteers, generations, KC, and EC—from early childhood through Grove and beyond.
A shared vision for next-generation discipleship, with opportunities to strengthen continuity, ministry transitions, and relationships across generations.
